SA's Top Real Estate Influencers to Follow on Social Media

SA's Top Real Estate Influencers to Follow on Social Media

Written by Jo Kiley

Leaving many of their industry peers for dust, these 3 SA real estate influencers are doing a smashing job of promoting their business and personal brand on social media. Each person on this list has their own style and channels of choice, but they all produce engaging content that is relevant to their followers and goes far beyond simply posting real estate listings.

Whether you are looking to improve your job prospects, your industry profile or you simply want to improve your social media knowledge; these are the people to follow.

A quick note on the process used to create this list - there wasn’t one! It’s simply a collection of the people we think are doing an excellent job on social media in the local real estate sector. However, we did review many, many social media profiles.

NATALIE KOUTSIKAS - Property Consultant, Harris Real Estate

It’s clear Natalie is passionate about real estate and knows how to build and present a brand. She has used her background in public relations to full advantage, publishing thoughtful content that shows a flair for design and home styling. You can find Natalie on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and via her blog Lady of the House.

JORDAN HANCHETT – Property Consultant, Harcourts Sargeant Property

Adelaide’s very own version of Andrew Winter from Selling Houses Australia, Jordan produces well-finessed videos full of flair and professionalism. Whilst much of Jordan’s content is dedicated to real estate listings, he also produces monthly market updates and posts competitions to keep his followers interested. Well done Andrew…we mean Jordan! Jordan has profiles on Twitter and LinkedIn, but Facebook seems to be his most active channel social media channel.

DAN RICHARDSON – Managing Director, Lead Estate Agents

If you visit one of Dan’s many social media profiles, you will find insightful and well produced content aimed at keeping his audience informed about real estate matters. Dan has certainly embraced the power of video - his ‘vlogs’ are personable, professional and relevant without the sales pitch that can make viewers switch off. Active on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram and with his own business blog, Dan makes use of multiple social media channels to deliver his messages.

BRETT WHEATLAND – Department Manager Property Management, LJ Hooker Glenelg

A special mention goes to Brett Wheatland who runs the Facebook Group SA Property Management Community. He provides a place for property managers to share their experiences, voice any issues, receive feedback from industry peers as well as finding information about news and events. Brett runs a tight ship with strict rules on what can and can’t be posted on the page to maintain the integrity of the space. This is a closed group, so if you are interested in joining, you will need to request permission first.

Here at Edge, we have also harnessed the power of social media to network with people in property and real estate. If you haven’t already, you can connect with us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
