About the role
This position is a newly created role that will be part of a Property Team overseeing a large, diverse and expanding property portfolio spread across both Parafield and Adelaide Airports. Reporting primarily to the Manager Parafield Airport, the role will provide support to the Property Team across both airport portfolios and will be based either at Parafield or Adelaide Airport as required. Key duties will include:
- Assist with the management of existing and new leases, renewals and rent reviews
- Undertake research and analysis relating to existing leases and building use as well as potential future developments
- Liaise closely with other internal departments to ensure due process and compliance are undertaken and managed
- Assist with projects including new development opportunities, capital works and tenancy fitouts
- Debtor management
The ideal applicant will have a mix of commercial property management experience and good financial acumen. Confidence in navigating and interpreting leases along with the ability to undertake research and financial analysis will be essential. Curiosity, initiative and the confidence to look beyond the norm will be key to success in this exciting role.
Degree qualifications in property, valuations, finance, commerce or equivalent are required, as is a current driver’s licence. Intermediate to advance skills in Excel will be expected.
