Part-time Marketing Assistant

The Company

With a portfolio of landmark properties in South Australia our client is also  a significant property owner in the Eastern States, with exciting plans for continued growth.

As part of a tight knit executive team managing a large shopping centre that has recently undergone major redevelopment, this position will focus on working closely with the Marketing Manager to promote the centre and build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.  

The Role

With a great mix of duties, this is a role that will keep you on your toes as you switch between customer service, administration and marketing. Key duties will include:

  • forming relationships with and supporting current and new retailers
  •  coordinating centre promotions
  •  assisting the Marketing Manager with the implementation of a calendar of marketing activities
  •  assisting with implementing marketing campaigns and events
  •  digital and website management
  •  contributing to the management of budgets
  • create content and manage the social media channels 
Skills & Experience

Key to your success will be prior experience in a general marketing role with exposure to events, promotions, digital marketing and preparing marketing collateral.  Tertiary qualification in marketing will be highly regarded, as will experience in shopping centre or retail management.  As this is a role requiring you to to be a very visible part of the team and build relationships with a range of stakeholders, strong customer service skills will be essential.

You will be working with a group of experts in their field who really enjoy their job, be an integral part of a small team who are responsible for running a large retail asset and do your shopping at lunch time! Flexibility to work either full or part days will allow you to tailor the hours to your needs.  The role will be offered as the equivalent of 3 days a week, although some flexibility to work an additional day will be required in the early stages.
