Senior Contract Administrator

The Company

A well established and highly regarded commercial builder experiencing exciting growth in 2019 with an increase in projects across SA.

The Role

As a senior member of the lead team, you will bring your commercial experience to a range of engaging new projects
Your daily duties will include:

  • Leading/mentoring a team of contract administrators
  • Conveying requirements to all other staff
  • Analysing contractual and legal issues
  • Working within commercial guidelines
  • Accurate financial reporting
  • Subcontractor management
  • Assisting the Project Manager

Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 7 years as a contract administrator
  • Want and ability to lead/mentor a team
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building and Construction
  • Experience in contract administration within a commercial building company
  • Ability to assess claims/variations by subcontractors
  • Ability to analyse/problem solve contractual issues
  • Demonstration of commercial acumen and strong negotiation/relationship skills
  • Deliverance of quality outcomes
